Seaham started very well and again created early chances that were wasted. The Star openend the scoring through Codie Howe on 15 minutes when he ired into the bottom corner from 25 yards. Killingworth were still reeling from the pressure and Jon Weirs made the most of some good work from Tom Scott and powered a shot fro 18 yards past the visiting keeper. The half finished with the Star 2-0 up.

That lead was halved in the opening minute of the second half when Connor McIntosh took advantage of poor marking and scored from close range. Both sides introduced subs during the scond period. MCIntosh brought a good save out of Seaham sub keeper Jordan Harkess in the closing minutes as the Star preserved their narrow lead.
