A competetive game resulted in a 1-1 draw. Anth Myers gave Seaham the lead after 25 minutes, the visitors never gave up the fight and equalised on 85 minutes.

The Star began the game well, creating a number of good opportunities, but a combination of good keeping from the visitors stopper Neale Bussey and poor finishing the Star failed to add to their first half opener. The second period saw West End get stronger and their equalsiser came after a period of domination as the Red Star lads tired.

Lee Hetherington was taken to hospital for an x ray on his ankle following a rash challenge.
