West Allotment Celtic secured a crucial victory on the road, defeating fellow strugglers Seaham Red Star and earning three valuable points in their fight to climb the table. The win marks Celtic’s third consecutive triumph in just seven days. In challenging weather conditions, the first half was scrappy, with the visitors creating the better chances. Celtic nearly broke the deadlock early on, only to be denied by the crossbar. However, they found the breakthrough with the final kick of the half. A poorly cleared corner fell to Livermore, who unleashed a stunning strike into the roof of the net from 12 yards out. The second half saw Celtic pressing to extend their lead, but they failed to capitalize on several opportunities. They were punished in the 62nd minute when Seaham’s Weirs found space in the box and expertly turned the ball past the goalkeeper to equalize. Celtic responded swiftly, regaining their lead just four minutes later. Ridley found space on the edge of the box and curled a sublime 18-yard effort into the back of the net. Both sides created chances in the closing stages, but Celtic held firm to secure a well-earned win and a vital three points in their bid to escape the relegation zone.
