Whitley Bay handed Seaham Red Star a heavy defeat, furthering their relegation concerns at the Alexandra Steakhouse Stadium. Bay took the lead in the 21st minute with a retaken penalty after Lawson of Seaham was sin-binned. Larmouth scored at the first attempt, but the penalty was retaken, and he scored again. Ten minutes before halftime, Bay extended their lead when Forster got the final touch to make it 2-0, and just before the break, Djalo slotted home to make it 3-0. Ten minutes into the second half, a brilliant finish by Cockburn made it 4-0, and on the hour, Larmouth completed his brace, making it 5-0. It was a tough day for Seaham, but an excellent win for Whitley Bay.
