Guisborough took the points with an entertaining win at the King George V Ground. The home side were reduced to ten men early on when after only twenty five minutes when Mills got his second yellow card and was sent off. Both teams had near misses and the home side hit the post with a great effort but in the added on time at the end of the first half Davis was fouled and the home side were awarded a penalty which Howes converted to give Town an interval lead. Eight minutes into the second half the hosts doubled their lead when Davis slotted home number two. Twenty minutes from the end Seaham did get a goal back when Colqhoun scored and then six minutes from time they tied the game up when Lawson equalised. However within a few minutes Guisborough hit back to retake the lead when Davies got his second goal of the game when he got on the end of a ball over the top and smashed it home with a fantastic strike. So despite playing for sixty five minutes with ten men the Priorymen still managed to get the three points on offer.
