Two goals in the second half were enough to give the Teessiders the points and push them into fourth place in the league. They broke the deadlock on fifty five minutes when Clark was set up and he blasted it home to put them in front. With twenty minutes to go Clark chased a long ball into the Seaham half and the keeper thought about coming for it but changed his mind, leaving the forward to chip the stranded goalkeeper from 40 yards for a fabulous goal to seal the points.
