Jarrow knocked out their first division opponents today by winning the penalty shootout after the game finished level. Karim put the hosts in front on thirty four minutes but within a minute the visitors equalised when Fletcher scored to tie the game level. Seaham then took the lead eleven minutes into the second half when Lawson scored their second goal and that seemed as though it would be enough to win it for the visitors but in added on time Farrier scored an equaliser for Jarrow to take the game to penalties. Jarrow won the shootout 3-2 and advance to the next round.
