Boldon got off to a fast start, scoring in just two minutes when Young headed them in front. Seaham did get an equaliser on thirty six minutes when Wright found the net, seeing the sides go in level at half time. The game seemed to be heading to extra time but on eighty two minutes Seaham went in front when Burton scored with a back post header and in the last minute Chisholm got number three for the visitors. There was still time for the home side to pull a goal back when Gateshill scored with a penalty.
